The Roundhouse Park , at the south end of the CN Tower , is a park in Downtown Toronto . It features the John Street Roundhouse , a preserved locomotive roundhouse which is home to the Toronto Railway Museum .  The John Street Roundhouse is a semi-circular structure built in 1929 and had 32 bays. Each of these was accessed by a set of tracks that linked up with the turntable. The Roundhouse turntable is 120 feet long, in order to accommodate the Canadian Pacific Railway 's largest passenger steam locomotives. Locomotives were usually operated in one direction and the turntable was used to turn them around. It's one of the longest ever built in Canada and it was declared a National Historic Site in 1990. The Roundhouse Park  is also home to a collection of trains : four full-sized locomotives, three freight cars, two passenger cars and one diesel multiple unit. Kilally Meadows  is located in northeast London along the Thames River , Ontario . It comprises a number of habitats including woods, meadows and swamps. Take your time and explore the area walking through the existing paths. Most of the trails are flat and easy to walk. The main access points are at the east end of Windermere Road and the west end of Kilally Road . This place has one of London’s most beautiful forests .  The river and diversity of habitats make this site an excellent place for wildlife .

McCormick Park is a nice small park in North East of London (Ontario) . It has some nice trails that go round the puddle ponds in the middle parts. The park is bordered to the north by the Canadian Pacific Railway . The ducks are fairly friendly and there are turtles and other wildlife. VIDEO CORNER

London has several natural spaces where you can go for stroll. Gibbons Park is one of these sites located in Central North of the city. The Thames Valley Parkway cross all the park so you can walk up or down the shoreline of the Thames river as far as you want.  Walking trails  are clean and easily accessed. 🌎 The Thames Valley Parkway ; otherwise known as the TVP , is the city’s primary multi-use pathway system. Gibbons Park has three tennis courts and a warmed open air swimming pool. The place has many sitting areas which makes it the ideal spot to bring the family for a day of fun. The  Thames River  is on one side and there are gorgeous old trees scattered throughout.  Birdwatchers have been coming to Gibbons Park for years to observe great horned owls . The Palos Verdes Nature Preserve  comprises eleven individual reserves. There are several trails available with a variety of walks and experiences. They range from easy strolls to strenuous climbs up hillsides and ridges. While exploring, you’ll also enjoy with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Start at the trailhead near the entrance on Forrestal Drive and take the PirateTrail . Follow this and turn left on the Mariposa Trail . The trail makes a sharp turn north and crosses a small bridge over a blue lin e stream. Then it continues with a st eep descent down the Flying Mane Trail and progress es  through the  Canyon View Trail . Take a walk down to the Klondike Canyon Creek and ride up the hill on the other side of the canyon till find the Burma Road Trail .
